The Optimism Bias – Tali Sharot’s book

31 January 2012

British Science Association in the pub!

I went to a packed upstairs pub room at the Lamb in Lamb’s Conduit St last week to hear UCL’s Tali Sharot talk about her research topic, the optimism bias. I read her book of the same name last autumn, and it is very interesting. Recently she had a double page spread in the Observer so it was no surprise that the small room the British Science Association had used was packed.
